Fan Zones

We welcome you to our Fan Zones in the Bodø area. This will be a Kollen Sunday, combining the creative madness we know from the Tour de France. Each Fan Zone has its unique character and caters to different target groups. If you're not participating in the race yourself, feel free to pack your backpack and head to one of the following destinations:

Fanzone Junkerfjellet is the fantastic viewpoint Junkerfjellet. The weather forecast is promising, making this an epic spot to watch the race, with a spectacular view of Børvasstindan, Landegode, and Bodø city center. An extra element of excitement is also in play at the top: Who will win the Sparebanken Nord-Norge Climbing Prize?

Fanzone Vanntårnet is a mix of Kollen atmosphere, Tour de France vibe, and Hemsedal-style afterski. This will be the gathering place for up to a thousand students from Nord University, and they don't plan to hold back. Expect an après-ski atmosphere with a powerful sound system, cheerful students in a party mood, and dressed in all sorts of eye-catching clothing. In collaboration with AVIS and Zipcar, the students have organized a special sprint competition alongside the track. Additionally, it will be exciting to see who comes out on top in the real sprint competition on the track, namely the "Zipcar Carpool Sprint Prize." Vasaloppet can keep its blueberry soup and gran legs in peace. This will be a party with fantastic TV shots!

Fanzone Skarmoen in Skarmoen/Skihytta is identical to the last refreshment station in the race. The ski cabin has an open café, and as usual, there will be the sale of coffee, waffles, juice, and the legendary ocean punch. The ski cabin opens at 11:00. The parking lot below the ski cabin will be closed on this day, but alternative parking is available at Soløyvannsveien. If you plan to ski to the ski cabin via Maskinisten, remember that the trail closes already at 11:30 at Maskinisten. Alternatively, you can ski from Heia (in the direction of the race). The trail closes at 12:00 in Bodømarka, so be sure to be out well in advance.
