Marcialonga Bodø moved to Valnesfjord
Marcialonga Bodø will be held in Valnesfjord this year. Due to heavy precipitation, the conditions at Bestemorenga are unfortunately not good enough to host the race in Bodø.
Valnesfjord was also the venue for the race last year, and we look forward to creating another great ski festival with plenty of skiing joy, a fantastic atmosphere, and excellent conditions in the trails!
Marcialonga Bodø will be a ski race out of the ordinary, showcasing both the best that Nordland’s nature has to offer and the vibrant urban life of the world’s smallest big city.
The race is part of the Ski Classics Pro Tour. This means that the world’s long-distance skiing elite will be at the starting line, and that the race will be broadcast live in 18 countries. In 2026, the race had over 1 million viewers in Norway and Sweden alone.
